An Afternoon with Thomas Lynch

We are extremely pleased to be able to present the renowned author and Michigan funeral director, Thomas Lynch for what will undoubtedly be a very intriguing Sunday afternoon.

Thomas will be reading from his work, as well as discussing his trade and signing copies of his books.

Thomas Lynch is the author of four collections of poems, including Walking Papers, forthcoming this fall, and three collections of essays including The Undertaking, which won The American Book Award, The Heartland Prize and was a finalist for the National Book Award. Apparition and Late Fictions – A Novella and Stories, has just been published. The PBS film of “The Undertaking,” based on his work and broadcast nationwide in 2007, won the 2008 Emmy Award for Arts & Culture Documentary. He lives in Milford and in Moveen, Co. Clare, Ireland.
