Traverse City Film Festival 2010
One of the best kept secrets of the TCFF is the Film Festival bookstall located on the second floor of the City Opera House and open throughout the festival from 9 am to 9 pm every day. You’re welcome to visit any time.
The TCFF bookstall provides much more than simply “the book of the movie.” We set out to reflect the art, intelligence and creativity of the film festival with books that enhance and extend the experience; books that examine the diverse themes and ideas presented on the screen.
You’ll find what you’d expect from a Traverse City Film Festival bookstall. There are books that analyze and appraise the lives of the creative minds behind the movies and screenplays we present, and there are books to satisfy the most avid student of the art of film-making. You’ll also find surprises — books that at first glance have no overt connection to a specific movie, but whose subject matter appeals to those to whom the movie appealed. Check it out. You’ll see what we mean.
If you can't make it to the book stall in person, we've listed all of the books from the book stall below. And while you're taking a look at this years books, why not check out the books from the 2009 Film Festival.
