Norte Book Drive
Norte is a youth-focused, active transportation-centered 501(c)(3) non-profit program in Northern Michigan. Through education, activation, and other initiatives, Norte strives to build strong communities and happy, healthy people. They work to create walk- and bike-friendly neighborhoods and empower the young—and the young at heart. Norte's projects include:
- Creating safe bike & walk routes to school
- Building confidence in youth through outdoor adventures
- Organizing winter outdoor activities
- Promoting active lifestyles for individuals of all ages & abilities
- And...assembling community libraries that share stories of resilience & community!
That final bullet point, of course, is the inspiration for this book drive. We want to help Norte build libraries that educational, inspirational, and accessible for readers & riders of all ages!
