Our new Staff Favorites list is in the works, but we thought we'd do something a little different this time. Instead of releasing them all at once, we're going to feature the picks of each bookseller indivually. Here's Sam's recommendations for the middle grade readers!

Rebecca Stead is one my favorite authors, she always manages to cover tough topics but in a way that leaves you full of hope. This story combines issues such as mental health, gay marriage, and dealing with life that is always changing. It's one that I continued to think about days after I finished reading it, not wanting to let go.
